The world’s top gridcell processor is coming to RTE today, as the Gridcells team announce that they are partnering with Intel to create a GPU that can compete with AMD’s top-tier GPU.
Gridcells will use the AMD R9 290X GPU and the GeForce GTX 780 Ti GPU, both of which feature 6GB of GDDR5 memory.
The Gridcells collaboration is a natural fit with Gridcells co-founder, Michael Nava, who previously worked with AMD and Intel to produce an R9 390X GPU.
Nava said:I really enjoy the collaboration we’ve had with AMD to bring these two incredible GPUs together, as well as Intel to bring this high-end gaming experience to the Gridcell ecosystem.
The collaboration between AMD and Gridcells, which is powered by the same core architecture as AMD’s R9 Fury X GPU, will make Gridcells the first GPU to support DirectX 12 and Vulkan.

With our partnership with Intel, we’re able to make Gridcell the first in the industry to offer a high-performance GPU that delivers the performance and performance-to-price ratios of a GeForce GTX 1080, making it a great option for anyone wanting to play gridcraft or just want to improve their game performance.
The Gridcells partnership with AMD will also make Gridcicles one of the first grid-based games to support the Vulkan API.
We’re also pleased to announce that Gridcores team is working with Nvidia to bring the Gridcings community an even higher-end graphics card that delivers all the performance we have been looking for.
This new GPU is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1070, and is powered with the new Maxwell architecture that brings higher clock speeds and better power efficiency.
Gridcines GPU will be available for Gridcigs price from the start of 2019.
Gridcells team is looking forward to working with Intel on the GridCores GPU, and will continue to support AMD GPUs.
Gridcicles team will continue working on the graphics capabilities of the Grid Cores GPU in the coming months and will also continue to develop Gridcives API.
