A Melbourne woman has managed to watch the eclipse without having to eat a meal.
Emily Hallett posted the video to her Instagram account as she walked past a coffee shop on Thursday afternoon.
“I am here to celebrate with friends and family at my work this morning, so I decided to have breakfast on the side to soak up the rays of the sun,” Ms Halleett said.
‘Not my job’ Ms Halett said the eclipse wasn’t her job, but it was something she could do while she was at work. “
The sun’s path through the sky is a little bit scary for people, so having breakfast in the sun was just an extra treat.”
‘Not my job’ Ms Halett said the eclipse wasn’t her job, but it was something she could do while she was at work.
“We were actually able to enjoy the eclipse while watching it, but I wanted to make sure everyone was having breakfast,” she said.
Ms Halytt said she enjoyed watching the spectacle but would not be doing it again.
“You don’t get to eat during the eclipse, but you do have to do it in your own way,” she told the ABC.
“So I’m not sure I’d do it again.”
